In a year after the Olympic Games in China, Ricky Rubio is one of the players that gets the attention of the NBA coaches, critics and fans. Many of the fans and critics predicted that rubio will be the 1st overall pick in 09. But that doesn't go there, After he picked no. 5 overall in the first round by the Minnesota Timberwolves. most of the fans(including me) are shock by that news, David Kahn, president of the timberwolves believes rubio and Jonny Flynn, the sixth pick, will play off of each other extremely well. All the hopes are lost.

Rubio reportedly staying in Spain to complete his contract with DKV Joventut and play the next two seasons in Spain, rather than come to the NBA. David Kahn helped Rubio giving $6.6 million for the buyout to play in the NBA rather than Spain. Whenever he comes to the NBA, the 18-year old point guard is set to only make $5.7 million in his first two seasons combined.How's that he got a lot of money if he's in the NBA now hehe. We'll just wait Rubio for the next 2 years.
